1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DISCpute Resolve ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DISCpute Resolve is an AI-powered mediation and conflict resolution platform. The Service provides:

AI-mediated voice and text therapy/mediation sessions
DISC personality assessments and compatibility reports
Mood tracking and progress journaling
Action item tracking and goal management
Optional connection to licensed human therapists (coming soon)

3. Not a Substitute for Professional Help

DISCpute Resolve is NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or crisis intervention. The AI mediator ("Dr. Clarity") is an artificial intelligence tool designed to facilitate conversation and provide structured mediation. It is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical professional.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. Users under 18 should use the Service with parental or guardian consent.

5. Privacy & Data

Session transcripts, DISC profiles, mood data, and journal entries are stored to provide the Service. You can delete your account and associated data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

6. Subscriptions, Purchases & Auto-Renewal

DISCpute Resolve offers a one-time purchase (Single Session) and auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly Unlimited and Yearly Unlimited) that unlock unlimited mediation sessions and premium features.

Single Session — a one-time, non-refundable purchase that unlocks one mediation session.
Monthly Unlimited — an auto-renewable subscription billed every month.
Yearly Unlimited — an auto-renewable subscription billed every 12 months.

When you purchase through an Apple App Store or Google Play build, the following terms apply to auto-renewable subscriptions:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your device Account Settings (Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions) after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Prices are stated in the app at the point of purchase and may vary by region and applicable taxes.

Purchases and subscriptions made on the web are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Your use of any paid feature is also governed by our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service, which together constitute the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal purposes
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users during sessions
Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the AI system
Share session codes or invitations with malicious intent
Impersonate another person or licensed professional

8. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create (messages, journal entries, etc.). By using the Service, you grant DISCpute Resolve a license to process and store your content solely to provide the Service. AI-generated content (summaries, action items, assessments) is provided for personal use only.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. DISCpute Resolve shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated advice, relationship outcomes, or decisions made based on DISC assessments.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
